When you open a sales order screen, and go to I want To, there is no option to change the store. So how can I do a sales order for Store 3, when I am at Headquarters in QuickBooks Point of Sale Multi-store?
There is a way to do it, it is just a bit convoluted..
First, open the Make a Sale screen. Add the customer and the items.
Then, go to I Want To, Other Tasks, Change Store, and select the store where you are doing the sales order for.
Once that change has been accepted, go back to the I Want To and choose Convert to Order, Sales Order, and save the Sales Order.
When you look in the Sales Order list, you will now see the Sales Order listed under the correct store.
