Enterprise hangs at Customers during QB POS Exchange.

Questions on the software? Call us at 800-609-0788!

Recently, there were a number of complaints about QuickBooks Enterprise 13.0 and the Financial Exchange from QB POS 2013. It would exchange vendor information, then hang, and Enterprise would stop responding.

If you were familiar enough with the programs, you could open the QBSDKLOG.txt file, and you would see an error :

requestprocessor process request error = 800706be

If you closed the Enterprise program through the task manager, you would then get a message that the Vendor/Customer information was not accessible as the list is probably being edited in Single User Mode.

Why is this happening?

There has been a modification to a permission in a particular file set in windows.
