Invalid version of RBA found when using an Ingenico Pin Pad.
If you have purchased a pin pad from Intuit and are receiving this message, or bought your pin pad elsewhere, this is whats happening.
The Pin Pads sold by Intuit and their partners are factory injected with the programming that allows them to work with the Point of Sale software.
If you are getting this message with a pin pad you have just purchased, it can indicate the proper programming was not injected. If you bought it through Intuit, please contact their tech support to either replace the pin pad, or get it re-programmed.
If you purchased the pin pad from another location, such as an online vendor, you may be forced to pay to have the proper programming done.
When it comes to the QuickBooks Point of Sale Merchant Service from Intuit, you are usually better off buying the equipment from an Intuit provider, or directly from Intuit. This helps to reduce the problems you may encounter later.
