Error 190500: Account configuration required…Call ShowWizard or set ShowLogin to TRUE

 

When using Shipping Manager, you see one of the following errors:

 

Error 190500: Shipping Manager has returned the following error: Account configuration required but ShowLogin is disabled. Call ShowWizard or set ShowLogin to TRUE.

 

Problem: Shipping Manager has returned the following error: The specified module could not be found. Follow any instructions given in the error message or try closing and reopening Shipping Manager, then retry your task.

How to fix it:

 

Delete damaged files in the Shipping Manager folder:

 

Right-click the Windows Start button and choose Open Windows Explorer.

 

Navigate in the left window to the location: C:Program FilesCommon FilesIntuitShippingManager. To navigate, click the arrow symbol next to each folder listed.

 

In the right window, right-click each file and choose Delete. Confirm each deletion until the folder is empty.

 

Turn off the Shipping Manager preference:

 

In Point of Sale, choose File > Preferences > Company.

 

Under Sales, select Shipping.

 

Click to clear the Use QuickBooks Shipping Manager checkbox. Click Save.

 

Close and reopen Point of Sale.

 

Turn the Shipping Manager preference back on:

 

In Point of Sale, choose File > Preferences > Company.

 

Under Sales, select Shipping.

 

Select the Use QuickBooks Shipping Manager checkbox. Click Save.

 

Try using Shipping Manager again. The issue should be resolved.
