The April 2018 Windows 10 update removes the Homegroup from Windows, and is causing heartburn for some as it seems to disconnect their networks.
Here is something that may help.
Click on the search box next to the Start button and type Services.MSC
Click on the Services Gear icon.
In the list of Services select each of the following:
Function Discovery Provider Host
Function Discovery Resource Publications
SSDP Discovery
UPnp Device Host
As you select each one, set it to Start Automatically, Start it, then hit apply.
Many are able to see the network shares, and have their networks function after making these changes.
You will need to make these changes on each Windows 10 computer you have.
