iAnywhere.SAClrClassLoader has encountered a problem and needs to close is a message that can be seen from time to time.
Typically, this error begins after an update to the QuickBooks software, that has been running normally for a good period of time.
There are a couple of causes for this:
The update may not have gone through successfully.
The Windows registry entries normally made by the program did not post, or have been damaged.
The firewall settings are preventing this from running.
An anti-virus software has damaged the update installation.
Things to try:
Locate the file C:program filesintuitQuickBooksreboot.bat. Double click this file to run it. It will attempt to re-register QuickBooks files in Windows.
Download the update file from Intuit’s website, and run the Manual Update. Make sure you are in Windows as the Administrator.
Check your firewall setting to allow Ianywhere through.
Your anti-virus may need to be set to ignore the Ianywhere application.
You may need to uninstall the QuickBooks, then reinstall and run the manual update.
iAnywhere is a portion of the SQL/Sybase system that Inuit uses for QuickBooks. Typically when we see error messages that make references to Class and ClassLoader, it is an indication that something is not quite right with the entries made into the Windows Registry. This can be from an unsuccessful install of an update, to existing damage in Windows. If you have tried the above steps and still cannot get the error to clear, there are a couple of things that need to be evaluated.
Does it do the same thing on a different computer? If not, you are looking at something specific to this computer, and the Windows operating system on it.
It may be time to call in a systems technician to either try to repair the windows registry, or they may need to remove all of the data from the system and reinstall windows.
