There have been recent reports of the Qty+, Qty- and other buttons missing from the Edit Assembly screens when trying to edit or create an Assembly Item in QB POS v12.
Intuit has been made aware of the issue. Here’s what’s happening.
The QB POS program was designed to operate on a screen resolution of 1024×768. Except that some screens do not appear to work well at this resolution.
Intuit has stated that resetting the screen to a resolution of 1920×1080 or higher may help, and also reducing the font size to small. (This can be found under Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display.)
Then, close POS and reopen it if it is not already closed.
In a nutshell, the buttons are there, they are just displaying off the right side of the screen.
Some experimentation may be needed to find a resolution that works, and you may actually have to reset the resolution again after editing the assemblies.
