Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks, Enterprise, TurboTax, Quicken and QuickBooks Point of Sale, have just released the r-9 update for the QB POS program.
To get an idea of what has been changed; Intuit has provided the following information:
Release (R9)
Mobile Sync

- Error in mobile sync referencing a sync token mismatch has been resolved.

MAS
|
- Merchant accounts will now stay linked properly.
|
Items
|
- Item search will now return acurate items when using the search option in the Item list.
|
Release (R8)
Mobile Sync
|
- Items using a longer ID will now sync correctly to the Point of Sale software from GoPayment, reducing the inventory accordingly.
|
MAS
|
- Improved security when typing in the last four numbers of a credit card number
- Voided tranactions will now be batched out as voids.

Release (R7)
MAS
|
- Resolved an issue where in certain situations the Merchant Services Center was reporting duplicate transactions. Note that this was a display issue only, there were no actual duplicate transactions performed.

Financial Exchange
|
- Credit and debit batch times have been changed to 12:00 a.m. local time (for the merchant, Pacific Time for Intuit), to reduce interference with retail business operations.
- This change is effective immediately for credit card transactions.
- The change will also be made for debit card transactions within the next four business days. Until the change is completed for debit transactions, batching will continue to occur at 3:00 p.m. local time.
- Issues relating to remote stores potentially displaying breakout incorrectly after financial exchange with QuickBooks have been fixed.
- GoPayment transactions will now be grouped together in QuickBooks reconciliation after financial exchange.
