Can I use Advanced Inventory in older versions of QuickBooks Enterprise?

Advanced Inventory was introduced in QuickBooks Enterprise 2011. It is an annual subscription which allows for better inventory tracking capabilities than the original Enterprise software had been produced with.

In order to use Advanced Inventory currently, you must have QuickBooks Enterprise 13.0, an active Full Service Plan, and have paid for the Advanced Inventory subscription.

 

Using the Advanced Inventory you can track inventory in multiple locations, use FIFO costing, track serial or lot numbers, use barcode scanning, and other features that were not offered in the past.
